Ideas, ideas, ideas!

We're happy when we share some!

We work together, we live together. One is more creative, the other more analytic. The balance is just fine. Fun and efficiency.
Ideas, we have so many of them that we’re happy when we share some! When le Bureau du Qebec invited us at Studio North in novembre we had just begun to draw some sketches. That was an adventure to cook up 5 prototypes in two months time including the Christmas Holidays!
In the end, not all the ideas we had in head could materialize (anyway our stand would have been too small!) such as the bird hooks, the smack lamp, the camouflage outdoor shower, the On the wall stool and so many others.
Our first collection was launched at Milan and New York design shows in 2006, with an enthusiastic response from fellow designers and press coverage from around the world: Interior Design, Citylife, I.D., Casa, etc.
We have now decided to focus on design and find partners to produce and market what we create. We would like to find manufacturers/editors or designers that could need us to find new ideas or develop new products. We love to experiment with new materials and have fun finding something unusual out of it.
As our work has an artistic side, we’d also like to collaborate with galleries to create installations and objects.

Tables

A coffee table that adjusts with the space, the need and the taste of the day.

Inspired by bolo bats and skateboard material.
At the end of creative process the holes made for glasses, bowls or magazines inspired us to make them usable for a pouch game.
Tablets made of maple plywood as skateboards are.
Foot in painted steel.
Polypropylene disks between the tablets.

Inspired by bolo bats and skateboard material.
At the end of creative process the holes made for glasses, bowls or magazines inspired us to make them usable for a pouch game—hence the printed numbers.
Tablets made of birch plywood, could preferably be produced in maple plywood as skateboards are.

Pantalon (Pants)

A chair...

Can be used as a chair or as a bookshelf.
Hanged on a wall by its big hole at the back.
Could you imagine 8 of them in a dining room?
The drawing is a collaboration with the montreal artists collective En masse and the fabrication is by Pierre Fournier and Boris Dempsey.
Made in aluminum but it could be great to try anything lighter such as carbon, molded polypropylene.

Hérisson

One of our most iconic creations, for little things, spices or shooters

We created it to put all the small cooking utensils such as small whisks, toothpicks, zester, grapefruit knife, cooking thermometer, etc., that are easier to find and choose there than in a big drawer. Could also be used to offer shooters or store spices (with test tubes caps).
Maple, cork and glass test tubes.

On y a bien travaillé.
