Tables
Inspired by bolo bats and skateboard material.
At the end of creative process the holes made for glasses, bowls or magazines inspired us to make them usable for a pouch game—hence the printed numbers.
Tablets made of birch plywood, could preferably be produced in maple plywood as skateboards are.
Foot in painted steel.
Polypropylene disks between the tablets.
Pantalon (Pants)
Can be used as a chair or as a bookshelf.
Hanged on a wall by its big hole at the back.
Could you imagine 8 of them in a dining room?
The drawing is a collaboration with the montreal artists collective En masse and the fabrication is by Pierre Fournier and Boris Dempsey.
Made in aluminum but it could be great to try anything lighter such as carbon, molded polypropylene.
UP
This lamp is like the trunk of a tree that pierces through the ceiling.
The lighting height is adjustable: to have more light at the top, in the middle, close to the floor or subdued, just slid the fabric where you need it!
Electricity comes from the ceiling.
-PVC tubes, DEL stripe, transformer, stretch fabric tubes, polypropylene fixture
9-inch adjustable coupling.
Modulable: could be produced with different tube lengths to adapt to any height.
For little things, spices or shooters
We use the one in our kitchen to put all the small utensils such as small whisks, toothpicks, zester, grapefruit knife, cooking thermometer, etc., that are easier to find and choose there than in drawers.
Maple, cork and glass test tubes.
L’atelier NON-USELESS
